Annual Gas Safety Inspections and Servicing of Gas Appliances 2019 - 2021 - AWARD

Tender submissions are invited to support the Council to undertake its Landlords Duty in ensuring that gas safety inspections, service and associated repair works for all gas pipework, appliances and fittings owned by the Council are carried out within statutory timescales in various types of properties within the borough of Sandwell. The Council operates a ten -month gas servicing cycle.

There are currently 4662 properties in Tipton and 3502 Properties in Wednesbury with a live gas supply.

For the purpose of this ITT the Council has divided its properties into geographical areas. Whilst there are 6 towns that make up the borough of Sandwell, this contract relates to 2 of these towns, Tipton and Wednesbury, only.
