description
The Broadcast 100 Project Board is looking to appoint a research /evaluation consultant to assess the Science Museum Group's (SMG) recent project - Broadcast 100.
As a new way of delivering a project at SMG, the Board are keen to learn what the successes and challenges were to this approach from across the teams associated with it. Further, there were a number of external partners and contractors that were engaged in the project. The Board seeks to understand how the external parties found the project and if it was successful for them. One element of the project - Broadcast Futures - was a Research and Development initiative but failed to open on time and had to be closed early as the technology required to enable this interactive experience was not fit for purpose. We are keen to do a deep dive into this to understand better if anything could have been done differently and to explore how best to work with R&D projects in the future.
It is anticipated that this evaluation will focus on the staff, contractors, partners and processes involved in the project rather than being an in-depth review of how our audiences experienced the Project's outputs. However, some contextual information on how the projects outputs were received by the exhibition's visitors as it relates to the projects' structure and organisation is also expected.
