NHS England Specialised Commissioning is planning to commission centres (adult and paediatric) to provide treatment for patients with Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS-TEN) - All Ages and is inviting all suitably qualified providers to complete a soft market testing questionnaire and attend a WebEx market engagement event.

  • I.Soft market testing questionnaire

To complete the soft market questionnaire and access any supporting documents please:

  • (a)Register on the procurement portal website EU Supply using the following link https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=agcsu.

The EU Supply project reference number is Quote/tender 37646 - NHS England - Spec. Commissioning - Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS-TEN) - All ages.

  • (b)Complete and submit the soft market testing questionnaire Quote/tender 37646 by no later than 10 December 2019 at 5pm.

Interested parties should respond to this notice as the responses to the questionnaire will be used to support the identification of the future commissioning route for the new service.

  • II.WebEx market engagement event

Interested organisations are also invited to attend a market engagement event which will take place on 22 November 2019 from 1:30pm - 3pm via WebEx.

The purpose of the event is to provide information about:

  • the Commissioner's intention and vision
  • the service and anticipated contract
  • the procurement process and anticipated timeline

The second part of the event will be interactive and will enable you to ask questions regarding the above and share feedback on the service specification, the process and next steps. This will be supplemented by a procurement session with guidance, tips and cases studies on how to make the best of a tender opportunity.

  • Engagement target audience

We are targeting individuals involved in service delivery (clinical experts), organisational management and decision-making (senior managers) and bid writing (procurement managers).

For WebEx joining instructions and draft agenda please refer to Document 2 - WebEx details available on the EU Supply portal (Quote/tender 37646).

  • Registration

To register for the event, please send us a Message titled 'WebEx Registration' via the EU Supply messaging facility (Quote/tender 37646) and provide the following:

  1. Name and registered address of your organisation
  2. Names and job titles of attendees
  3. Please send us any queries regarding the national service specification and/or any other questions regarding the event
