NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS South West Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SWLCCG) acting as Lead Commissioner on behalf of the Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Groups ( South Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire East and Lincolnshire West CCG's) is inviting suitably qualified providers to deliver Adult Hearing Services initially across South West Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire East CCGs under an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. At this stage Lincolnshire West CCG is taking part in the procurement but may not go ahead with contract award for this service but is included within this tender to enable participation at a later date should the need arise. The contract is for a period of 3 years from 1st May 2017 with an option of a further two years. The ITT is now available on Bravo reference itt_672 and the closing date is 12 noon on 24th February 2017.
The broad outcomes required of the service are specified below:
Increased choice and control for service users as to where and when their treatment is delivered - providing on-going care closer to home; ï· Personalised care for all service users accessing the service;
Timely access to hearing assessment, and a range of support services including hearing aid fitting, follow-up and on-going aftercare;
High proportion of service users continuing to benefit from the chosen intervention, including wearing hearing aids when required if they have been provided;
Reduced communication difficulties for service users with poor hearing; ï· Timely referral or signposting to other local services for support and equipment, including social services and voluntary services;
Access to clear guidance and information for service users and their families about the important role of hearing in maintaining effective communication and active engagement in a range of social and work settings, including advice on the range of support available;
High levels of satisfaction from service users accessing the service;
Improved quality of life for service users, their families/carers and communication partners.
Applicable measures relating to these broad outcomes are set out in Schedule 4C (Quality Requirements).
Additional information: There is the option to extend the service for a further 2 years.

This procurement process is for the provision of healthcare services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the "Regulations") as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations. Accordingly, the contracting [authority/authorities] [is/are] only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 of Part 2 of the Regulations. The contracting [authority/authorities] [is/are] not voluntarily following or adopting any other part of the Regulations.
