The subject matter of this process relates to the delivery of services which are listed in Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations.
The contract provides a high quality, evidenced based service that focuses on improving community safety by
- Supporting those adults attending ED for complex health and social problems that are a result of alcohol and illicit drug use,
- Sharing relevant information (Information Sharing to Tackle Violence) in a timely way with key partners to enable those partners to use that information to prevent violence in the community related to alcohol and illegal drugs,
- Using surveillance and auditing of the Electronic Patient Records for ED attendance to spot trends and issues in alcohol and illicit drug attendances which could be relevant to ED staff,
- Attending key partnership meetings.
The contract period is two years, with no option to extend, beginning on 1 April 2023.
