The Royal Borough of Kingston wishes to commission suitably qualified provider(s) to deliver a range of Resident Engagement services as set out in the three ‘lots’ which are:
Lot 1 – Building, Developing and Supporting Residents’ Capacity to Engage
Identify ways of encouraging resident engagement, provide support to current formal and informal groups including tenants and resident associations (TRA’s), stakeholder forums, scrutiny panels and community groups in order to increase their engagement with the council as well as developing new residents groups.
Lot 2 - Resident involvement in service design, improvement and decision making
Engage residents in service design and improvement particularly those harder to reach/engage residents. Provide support, knowledge and confidence in enabling residents to take part in the designing, improving and delivery of services including finding solutions to issues in their neighbourhoods, jointly in partnership working with the Council and other agencies.
Lot 3 - Market research and publicity
To gain resident feedback on services for the residents and their requirements. Develop approaches that gives residents the opportunity to influence and shape housing policy and service delivery. Develop communication and publicity materials in collaboration with the Councils Communication Team.
The contract will commence on 19 December 2016 (TBC) and will be for a period of three years, with an optional extension of 1+1 years, to be exercised at the Council’s discretion.
