We are making a small amount of grant funding available to kick-start or develop an existing programme that supports selected or self-selected pupils to increase the activity levels of their peers.
The successful bid will deliver a peer-leadership scheme that will increase pupils’ activity levels. We expect to see a clear plan for how this will be achieved, which should be based on evidence and include measureable outcomes. Bids should cover the elements of a delivery plan for how the programme will improve the PE and sport leadership of participating pupils, how these pupils will be supported to promote more active lifestyles for their peer group and what the measurable impact on that peer group will be.
