description

The Future Data Science (FDS) project seeks to generalize Data Science by creating and demonstrating the underpinning science through which the machine will be able to re-use its models with a confidence of validity, and generalize (broaden) Data Science and AI to answer counterfactuals.

The FDS project runs for 3 years , with work in each year themed under the broad titles of discovery, delivery and evaluation. The primary goal in this first year is therefore to develop a deep understanding of the following topics, (1) Human Computer Interaction (HCI), (2) Linked Data, (3) Argumentation, (4) Causality and (5) Uncertainty.
