description
The Department for Education will shortly re-open its Register of External Experts (RoEE02) and will be hosting an information session for anyone interested in joining the register. The RoEE02 is made up of individuals who are external contractors that are high-calibre education professionals with a proven record and recent experience in developing, supporting or leading outstanding schools or trusts.
The department is re-opening the RoEE02 to allow additional suitable individuals to join. This is also an opportunity for those already on the RoEE02 to update their verified expertise. There are 82 specific areas of expertise that define the scope of the RoEE02. The department is looking for individuals with broad expertise but does not expect each individual to have expertise in every defined expertise area.
Once awarded a place on the register and available for deployment, External Experts will be invited to bid for any work requiring their verified expertise and in the geographical region within which they are available (as defined in the bid to join the register). To provide potential bidders with more information, to plan for their submission, we are hosting a one-hour Supplier Event via MS Teams at 11:00 on 09/11/21. If you are an education professional or Your organisation supplies the services of an educational professional, please contact external.expertise@education.gov.uk for further information and details of how to join the event.
The session will be recorded for the purpose of collating the clarification Q & As that may be asked, however this recording will not be circulated following the event. The Q & As from the event will be circulated to all those that expressed an interest.
