description

The Partnership Engagement Budget (PEB) is a subset of the ICF's Partnership approach. The PEB would provide the necessary non-pay budget to deliver partnership engagement activity (to complement existing human resources in London and at Post) to achieve the following aims:

ofacilitate the successful delivery and co-ordination of ICF programmes in partner countries and realise greater impact (and UK recognition) for this spend;
osupport an increase in the ambition of NDCs in partner countries and improve the wider political environment for successful NDC implementation.
oThe partnership engagement budget objectives fall under the KEEP framework's engagement pillar which sets out aims to strengthen UK visibility and influence with decision makers, and support the building of more permanent coalitions and development initiatives, thereby underlining the UK's thought leadership role in wider international climate finance flows.
