Cambridge City Council - UPPERHALL COURT REMEDIAL WORKS 2024/25

Information for Prior Indicative Notice:

The Council wishes to undertake a procurement exercise to award a contract for the provision of reroofing and associated structural works , retro-fitting of structural steel wind-posts and replacement of windows. The site covers one block of three storeys. There are sixteen tenanted flats and communal area(s).

1. to 16 Upperhall Court Cambridge. CB1 9BU

It is expected that one contract will be awarded to cover all of the works over a period of approximately 4 months commencing on award of contract.

It is intended to procure the contractor using a Single Stage Open Tendering process that complies with current Procurement Legislation. The weightings shall be Price 40%; Quality 60%.

Tender process is anticipated to Commence in November 2024

Contract award is anticipated in January 2025 with a commencement on site in February 2025.

A Supplier event will be set for 6th November 2024 on Teams meeting and any supplier wishing to attend should register their interest through the Procurement Portal not later than 31st October 2024.

Suppliers are encouraged to visit the site by prior appointment through the Portal over a 2 day period early in the tender period. Further details of the proposed days shall be communicated when the tender documents are issued, but it is envisaged that this will occur in 19th and 20th November 2024.
