description
- a.TfN intend to commission a collaborative research project to further develop and support the Northern Powerhouse Independent Economic Review (NPIER) evidence base. The outputs from this project will be engaged in updates to TfN's Strategic Transport Plan and support wider policy making across the North of England.
- b.This Requirements Document relates to a contract to develop Northern economic scenarios and supporting narratives through a collaborative workshop process, translate these scenarios into model outputs and produce a final report which sets out a refreshed vision of the North's economic ambitions out to 2050.
- c.TfN intends to award a single contract for a supplier for a period between April 2022 and December 2022 (or until each of the services has been carried out to the satisfaction of TfN).
- d.This Requirements Document identifies TfN's requirements and invites a response from a single or collaborative body (referred to as "the supplier" hereafter).
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
