description
UK Research and Innovation - Innovate UK requires an overview and detailed reports of the role Catapults have played to shape sector and technology. The aim of this programme of work is to provide an overview to the key trends in each Catapult's respective sector since their establishment in 2014. For each sector, a report will be produced highlighting the role the Catapult has played to shape the sector/ technology. This work is not focused on how Catapults have engaged/ supported businesses/their customers but the support role they have played at a sector level.
Objectives:
•This project is to be delivered within a 13 week period, with nine reports produced, one for each Catapult. We anticipate the High Value Manufacturing report will incorporate all seven centres, hence we expect this report will be longer in length.
•Set out a workplan and framework for analysing each sector since 2014 and the role the Catapult has played, using mixed methods including desktop quantitative and qualitative research, and consultations with key stakeholders and sector experts
•At agreed milestones, present findings to the project team for review
•Provide an additional summary report covering key findings and demonstrating/ providing insights into how the sector has evolved over the period and the role that the Catapult has played in shaping the sector. The final report must also incorporate an overview of the methodology employed and sources used.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
