description
Nottinghamshire County Council's Green Spaces team manage a number of sites across the County. These sites are mainly restored colliery and mineral railway lines now used principally for public recreation and by wildlife.
The sites are zoned (Red, Amber, Green), with Red Zones identified as those areas of most intensive use, or where there is a high risk 'target'. Red and amber zones are surveyed on a rolling programme every two years.
