The Scheme is government funded and can award compensation to people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were the blameless victim of a violent crime. The Supplier will be expected to deliver medical assessments commissioned by CICA through the use of Medical consultants/specialists in order to inform the process of awarding compensation to applicants if applicable. Full details will be provided via the specification on the MoJ's e-sourcing portal. The Contract's initial term will be for a period of 12 months with options to extend the contract a further two (2) years by two (2) one (1) year extensions.
