NHS Hammersmith & Fulham CCG is INVITING PROPOSALS for the provision of community Dermatology and Minor Surgery services.

The Contracting Authority is seeking to provide a community dermatology and minor surgery service which will achieve the following outcomes:

Equitable access and treatment of dermatology patients presenting with dermatological problems within different levels of deprivation.
Achievement of first to follow up ratio of no more than 1:1 whilst improving clinical outcomes.
Increased overall patient's satisfaction with dermatology services.
Provider services closer to patients' home.
Improved communication between community, secondary and primary care services provider, specialist clinicians and Primary Care.
Improved quality of care within primary and community settings regardless of provider.
Increased patient choice.
Improved access to advice and information, increased knowledge and awareness of the management of dermatology for patients.
Reduced waiting time for patient's access to specialist care in the community.

The Contracting Authority would like to encourage all types of organisations to bid for this service including lead bidders and consortiums that are able and qualified to deliver a service such as this.

The duration of this contract will be for three years, with one optional extension of a further two years at the CCG's discretion and dependent upon success and resources.

It is intended that the new service will commence by latest 6 November 2017 whilst encouraging bidders to start earlier if safe to do so.
