NHS Hammersmith & Fulham CCG is INVITING PROPOSALS for the provision of community Dermatology and Minor Surgery services.
The Contracting Authority is seeking to provide a community dermatology and minor surgery service which will achieve the following outcomes:
| • | Equitable access and treatment of dermatology patients presenting with dermatological problems within different levels of deprivation. |
| • | Achievement of first to follow up ratio of no more than 1:1 whilst improving clinical outcomes. |
| • | Increased overall patient's satisfaction with dermatology services. |
| • | Provider services closer to patients' home. |
| • | Improved communication between community, secondary and primary care services provider, specialist clinicians and Primary Care. |
| • | Improved quality of care within primary and community settings regardless of provider. |
| • | Increased patient choice. |
| • | Improved access to advice and information, increased knowledge and awareness of the management of dermatology for patients. |
| • | Reduced waiting time for patient's access to specialist care in the community. |
The Contracting Authority would like to encourage all types of organisations to bid for this service including lead bidders and consortiums that are able and qualified to deliver a service such as this.
The duration of this contract will be for three years, with one optional extension of a further two years at the CCG's discretion and dependent upon success and resources.
It is intended that the new service will commence by latest 6 November 2017 whilst encouraging bidders to start earlier if safe to do so.
