The project refurbishes the existing Weybridge Library (1,450m2), to create Weybridge 'Hub', which houses the library along with a range of other services and facilities, accessible to all Weybridge residents.
The building requires significant refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards. The internal finishes, fittings and MEP are to be stripped and replaced, and the internal layout will be reconfigured to suit the intensified and multimodal use of the building. The scope includes a single storey infill extension to the rear and replacements of all curtain walls, glazing, roof coverings. Externally there is refreshed public realm / landscape, and utilities / drainage works
