description

The Service Police Crime Bureau (SPCB), Cyber Crime Centre (3C), require the renewal of the existing Cellebrite digital forensic software running on appliances known as Universal Forensic Extraction Devices (UFED), together with an uplift of the existing Tier One Digital Forensic capability currently being utilised within the Service Police Scientific Support Hubs (SSH) to Cellebrite Infield Kiosks.

Army Headquarters is responsible for overseeing all non-MODNET ICS procurements for the Army.

SPCB 3C is responsible for extracting Electronically Stored Information (ESI) from digital storage devices and the subsequent forensic analysis of the ESI in support of Service Police investigations.

The Cellebrite specialist tools are used for mobile, smartphone and PDA forensics to search, interrogate, extract, and analyse electronic media on a multitude of digital devices in order to generate a standardised evidential product.

The Service Police operate four Tier One hubs to deal with requests for digital evidence in relation to volume crime to help minimise delays within the Service Justice System.
