Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision maintenance works at Penhill Footbridge in the Swindon urban area.

Project Description

The aim of this project is to address condition defects and maintenance issues on the bridge's structure, to address on-going deterioration and improve the bridge's aesthetic appearance. The works to be undertaken include bridge maintenance repairs and the replacement of coatings.

The initial contract term will be for 6 weeks as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £140k - £180k.

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com

Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal, including the project reference and title clearly in the Subject title, by 8th March 2022, 1200 hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically via Messaging in ProContract tender portal.

The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor's responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
