description
The DRILL Programme to date has highlighted that there are specific groups or communities of disabled people who are not being heard. We would like to find out why, and if possible, what can be done to reach, include and strengthen the voices of such groups of disabled people in policy debates.
We would then like the project to identify the implications for Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs) and whether there are things they can do, or do differently, to include more disabled people in their organisations and activities.
The DRILL Programme covers all four Nations in the UK. We would like to see an element of the research looking at the similarities or differences across the Nations. The issues and solutions you identify may require a different approach, or a unified one, which should be considered as part of your proposal.
Please note, date for questions has been extended to the 9th October 2018 (12 noon).
