Provision of Out of Hours Dental Services in Hertfordshire and Essex

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England - East of England (the Commissioner) would like to notify the market of an opportunity to provide Out of Hours Dental Services in Hertfordshire and West Essex and Mid and South Essex for the following Lots.

Lot 1: Hertfordshire and West Essex Lot 2: Mid and South Essex

The key aims and objectives are as follows;

• Commission forward-thinking dental out of hours provision that is evidenced-based and influenced by stakeholders including the dental community, patients and local Integrated Care Systems (ICS's).
• Commission appropriate levels of provision in each geographical area, which is evidence-based.
• Commission a service that ensures equity of patient access in terms of location and opening hours.
• Potentially decrease dental emergency attendance at Emergency Departments.

Please note the deadline for ITT submissions is 12:00PM on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.

This Procurement has been advertised in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015(as amended) (the "Regulations") to the extent that the Regulations relate to services within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services.
