Unplanned Maintenance

All unplanned maintenance is to be reviewed and authorised by the DO based on the SQEP report. This review may require physically viewing the vehicle.

Additional servicing which may be required include:

a.Annual under-sealing.
b.Under vehicle waxing.
c.Increased suspension inspections.
d.Spraying vehicles. (wings, bonnet, roof, doors, rear and complete vehicle).
e.Provision of tyre fitting services including collection from and return of vehicles. Fitting of tyres, provided by the authority, onto existing rims also provided by the authority.
f.Armoured glass fitting (a specialist skill).

The CAVs are to be employed within the secured area of Baidoa Airfield. All servicing and maintenance is to be completed at a facility within these confines.
