Personal Care and Support Services for Children & Young People with Disabilities and other children and young people who meet the criteria for social care Opportunity - Provider premarket engagement event

Children First Northamptonshire (Northamptonshire County Council) (CFN - NCC) are looking to develop a Personal Care and Support Service for Children with Disabilities and other children and young people who meet the criteria for social care (sometimes referred to as "domiciliary care") to commence in April 2020.

Personal Care and Support provides support to families to help children and young people with complex health or behavioural needs in the comfort of their own homes. It should be person centred, personal care, enabling care and/or other services that are necessary to maintain a child or young person's quality of life, enabling them to remain living with their family and achieve their specified outcomes. The service is not about dependency, but about helping people to do things for themselves as far as they are able.

To assist with understanding the market, suppliers and offering, a pre-market engagement event is being held.
