description
Herefordshire Council has received an Access Fund grant from the Department for Transport to support a new Walking and Cycling Network Rangers scheme operating on Hereford City cycle paths.
Following a successful 12 week pilot, from September - December 2017, Herefordshire Council is looking for an organisation to deliver this service for a 2 year period. The aim of the service is to improve the pedestrian and cyclist experience on our traffic-free Hereford City network. This will involve keeping paths clear of vegetation and litter, cleaning signs and bins, signposting path users to relevant Council initiatives and reporting issues beyond the remit of this service to Herefordshire Council's Public Realm partner Balfour Beatty Living Places (BBLP).
There is a budget of up to £55,000 available for the delivery of this programme up until 31st March 2020.
