description
The overall aim is to undertake a detailed process and impact evaluation of the Nottingham City Enhanced Health in Care Homes Vanguard. The study should be both formative and summative in its design. As such, it will be used to shape the delivery of the programme as it is delivered, as well as provide summative findings on the impact that the programme is having.
As well as providing value to the Nottingham City Enhanced Health in Care Homes Vanguard and its wider local health economy, the evaluation will generate an evidence base that will enable NHS England’s New Care Models team to answer key policy questions about the spread and replicability of the new care models.
The evaluation specification includes a series of programme level questions as well as specific questions for the 2 Vanguard work streams: Technology in Care Homes and Clinical Pharmacy in Care Homes.
