The Department has an on-going requirement for an ICT Disposal service in order to;
| - | support technology refresh (e.g. laptop/tablet refresh) across the DfE estate, |
| - | enable the swift and compliant disposal of obsolete ICT equipment from the DfE estate, |
| - | enable asset tracking and accountability of public funds, |
| - | ensure Departmental data is managed and destruction is undertaken to protect confidentiality of data and comply with the PSN Code of Connection for public sector, |
| - | meet our obligations under the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ROHS directives), |
