Payment Processing Agent

This is an Award Notice for the provision of merchant payment gateway services to process financial card transactions. It is mandatory to provide a high level of integration, automation, flexibility, self -service and DCC capabilities for Recurring card payment. There must not be any limitations around frequency or fixing timing of payments. An automatic retry of failed payments is required. There shall be no reliance on third party solutions to collect and facilitate payments and no reliance on manual interventions to "manage" payment, changes in payment details and amounts and failures.

Additional information: There is no other provider that provides the same functionality and integration for Recurring Card Payments (RCP) in the sector. Potentially comparable solutions lack the same level of integration, automation, flexibility, self-service and DCC capabilities. To contact with a new provider will take two years to implement and will be at significant cost. It has been agreed that a tender process taking this into consideration will commence next year.
