Rate of Pay: £21.71 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury

Start Date: ASAP for 3 Months

Brief description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager for 3 months to lead in the in the review/redesign and implementation of processes and procedures for a Manual Handling Project (Single Handed Care) within Adult Social Care. The ideal candidate will have Occupational Therapy experience alongside supervisory and project leadership skills.

Applicants should possess an in-depth understanding of legislation, guidance and the underlying concepts and principles relating to Manual Handling and to the developing regional and national agenda for Single Handed Care, focussing on delivering care and support with a more individual and dignified approach. You will need to keep abreast of current trends and developments in all relevant areas concerning commissioning, legislation and guidance.

A minimum 3-year experience of working in Adult Social care and/or Health is required. A minimum of 1-year experience of a project management or redesign environment is required. Experience in the development and implementation of policy and procedures, and in change management and delivering project redesign is essential.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, including project management and strategic planning, for example PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes
