description

The LGA and County Councils Network members have concerns about the efficacy regarding the SEND and Alternative Provision improvement plan, which sets out significant reforms to the systems that support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

We are seeking to test that hypothesis in discussions with councils, as well as proposing a series of policy reforms, following discussions with councils and partners, that would better meet the needs of children with special needs within existing high needs budgets.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
