Reconstruction of Wych Barge Timber Structure, Vines Park, Droitwich.

Wychavon District Council are inviting quotes for the dismantling & reconstruction of a timber constructed Salt Barge located within Vines Park, Droitwich. This structure represents the towns heritage to salt production and is a standout structure located in the park which is central to Droitwich Town.

The works consist of removing the existing timber barge construction and replacing with a similar like for like timber structure. A concrete block & slab formwork exists under the timber structure, this is to remain and to be used for reinstallation. Ancillary works consist of replacing the stone surface & timber signage boards acting as the sail.
