description
SWTC at this stage is seeking contractors interested in the project, we are currently hosting a four-week public consultation to better understand the likes and dislikes of the current play area and this will help when finalising designs.
Our specification and requirements include:
- A splash park of 234m2, mains once used system and holding tanks.
- Refurbished play area - which is known as an "older children's" play area including a rope climbing frame and zip wire which we would like to see retained, but we are open to new and exciting ideas.
- All installed equipment and wet pour must have standard industry warranties and provided at times of quotes.
- Please provide details of current installations to the Town Council who may then subsequently visit each site to evaluate the standard and quality of equipment and installation At this stage, this is purely an expression of interest to tender for the works and a selection process will be undertaken and three suitable contractors will be contacted for tender.
All contractors must hold the following insurance:
- oEmployers liability - £10,000,000
- oPublic liability - £10,000,000
- oProducts liability - £5,000,000
When submitting your expression of interest, please provide evidence of your insurance cover.
The following will be required if you are a selected tenderer:
- Risk Assessments and method statements must be provided by the contractor before any contracts of works are awarded
- Full cost and design specification
