Alterations to Aseptic Suite

This contract is for Alterations to the Aseptic Suite at Southport & Formby District General Hospital.

The work comprises the following elements:-

1. Demolition and removal of redundant partitions, doors & ceilings, with alteration of existing built in desktops to suit the new wall layout.
2. Construction of new 30min Fire Resisting partitions to provide an Isolated Support Area.
3. Reinforcing existing partitions to provide 30min Fire Resistance.
4. Construction of a discrete gowning room at the new entrance to the Suite c/w washbasin & shoe rack.
5. Installation of Laboratory standard worktops, cupboards & shelving.
6. All necessary alterations to the Electrical, Lighting, Fire Alarm and Building Management Systems.
7. All necessary alterations to the Ventilation Plant to achieve the required increase in output to suit the new room configuration.
8. Installation of comfort cooling in the new Outer Support Area.
