Hydraulic press, Supply, Delivery & Installation.
The Composites Research Group at the University plans to develop a state-of-the-art facility and deliver fundamental research to address key rate and volume limitations in industrial composites manufacturing. The press will form the nexus of the cell, providing the ability to manufacture compression moulded or RTM components at high levels of control and with an emphasis on high-resolution data capture to allow the development of a component digital twin.
