description
This tender is being commissioned by Centre for Ageing Better in partnership with the Active Partnership National Team (APNT) who manage the Live Longer Better CoPL.
Active Partnerships are locally based strategic organisations who work collaboratively with local partners to create the conditions for an active nation. The Live Longer Better (LLB) network comprises of 22 Active Partnerships who are supported through a community of practice (CoPL).
Ageing Better and the LLB network have a shared goal of helping people in and approaching later life to become more physically active. Physical inactivity is a complex problem and addressing it in a place requires a whole systems approach focused on shifting mindsets and building a shared understanding of local challenges, opportunities, and potential collective actions.
We want to commission a learning partner to help us to meaningfully capture, collate, interpret, communicate, and act on the insights and lessons along the Active Partnerships' system change journey.
The role of this learning partner will be to:
Provide group-based support to members of the CoPL - focused on helping them to gather and synthesize learning in order to understand progress towards their system change goals Gather and synthesize evidence on the conditions that are needed locally and nationally to enable this kind of work to happen in other places.
