Coventry University is seeking an experienced design and build contractor to work with us to construct a second Engineering and Computing Building. The project comprises the construction of a new 4 storey, circa 5,366m2 GIA building to accommodate the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing on an existing car park. The contractor will be selected through a Single Stage Tender for a Design and Build Contract. Coventry University will require the successful Tenderer to enter into a JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 with Amendments.

Coventry University's design team will not be novated but will remain in a Client Compliance Monitoring role.

The project comprises of the following high level activities:

• oSite clearance and earthworks to the existing car park.
• oPiled foundations
• oSteel frame and precast concrete superstructure
• oFa?ade and roofing
• oBridge link to the existing ECB1
• oInternal fit out
• oInstallation of loose furniture and AV equipment
• oInstallation and commissioning of building services
• oExternal works including soft and hard landscaping
• oMinor alterations and refurbishment works to the residual car park
