LB Newham - Stroke Support Service

The Council of the London Borough of Newham (“the Council”) invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of a Stroke Support Service in the London Borough of Newham (“the Contract”).

The Contract will commence on the 1st April 2016 and will operate for a period of two (2) years, terminating at midnight on the 31st March 2018.

Funding for the Service is fixed at £83,500 per annum for the entire contract period. The Council shall not consider any Tenders in excess of the available funding.

The Service comprises of need led information, practical advice and emotional support for stroke survivors and their carers / families; and advice and support for those residents considered to be at risk of stroke.

Providers shall be experienced in providing similar services and shall also be required, as part of their Tender, to complete a Qualifying Questionnaire containing information about their economic and financial standing, safeguarding practices, technical capability and other general information. This information will be assessed to establish that the provider is financially viable and technically capable of undertaking a contract of this nature.

Providers shall be aware that only Tenders submitted by providers who satisfy the criteria contained in the Qualifying Questionnaire shall go on to be evaluated in accordance with the Contract evaluation criteria of 100% Technical Ability and Quality.

All questions, clarifications or interpretations relating to the Tender Documents must be submitted by no later than 16:00 Hours (4:00 pm) on Wednesday 3rd February 2016.

THE CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF COMPLETED TENDERS IS 16:00 HOURS (4:00PM) ON WEDNESDAY 10TH FEBRUARY 2016.
