Northamptonshire County Council - Provision of a minimum of 3, three day training courses for staff and committee members of early years settings.

NCC is seeking to purchase training delivery for three, 3 day courses per annum from April 2016 with one course in each of the main funding blocks. Funding blocks, for information, are January – March, April – August and September – December. Each 3 day course (normally 1 day per week over 3 successive weeks) should principally cover:

• The structure and key elements of a working setting based business plan to include taking the participants through the stages needed to complete their own plan.
• The formulation of a setting profit and loss forecast and cash flow forecast to highlight the importance of each and differences between the two.
• Cost effective marketing techniques and the development of a marketing plan for the setting.
• Legal issues affecting childcare settings
• Safeguarding awareness

Eleven thousand pounds for minimum guaranteed 9 days training to include venue and material costs. (Please note that this is an estimate only. If your organisation submits a quote please specify your price and provide evidence to support)

There is an option to extend this contract for 1 year.
