description
DfE is looking to procure the services of a national delivery partner to support schools to open school sports facilities and provide greater access and opportunities for pupils to access extra-curricular sport and physical activity.
The objective of this work is to support schools to open their facilities outside of the normal school day (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to allow young people more opportunity to be physically active, with an aim to create national coverage and support more schools to provide inclusive facilities and opportunities for pupils with SEND. This will include funding for what schools require to open in a COVID-secure manner.
The potential contractor must have national reach, either by Consortiums, building partnerships or using existing regional infrastructure.
