NOTE: This notice was updated on 23 February 2016 for the following reason: Other additional information: Following Spectrum’s press release dated 2nd February 2016, you may have already heard that Sovereign and Spectrum Housing Group are in talks about joining together to form a new 56,000- home organisation. Discussions will continue and if both boards approve, the merger will go ahead by the end of the year. For this reason, it has been agreed to discontinue the Out of Hours procurement to enable the Group to consider all options suitable to meet the business requirements going forward.

For more information, please visit our website at www.spectrumhousing.co.uk Spectrum Housing Group is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of an out of hours, emergency call handling service. The requirements will include and not limited to the following:

  • to provide cover outside of Spectrum's normal office hours which are currently 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday;
  • to provide cover on all public holidays and additional 10 days full coverage throughout the year to be agreed in advance, where possible;
  • Cover may be required at short notice or no notice for provision for disaster recovery;

Expression of interest is welcomed from potential bidders who can demonstrate their first class service delivery and experience within this type of service. The service provision will involve predominantly receiving calls from Spectrum residents, regarding emergency repairs, calls regarding several other issues such as rent payment online, reporting Anti-Social Behaviour and any major incidents. The contract will be managed by Spectrum's Customer Services manager who will be keen to work with the successful bidder as part of a seamless arrangement in the customer service provision within Spectrum Housing Group and all its partners maintaining a high standard of service, professional integrity, reliability, efficiency and value for money.
