Provider Engagement Event - Residential Overnight Short Breaks for Disabled Children

Leicestershire County Council Children & Family Services invite providers of Residential Overnight Short Breaks for young people aged 9-18 that are currently open to the Disabled Children's Team, to a provider engagement event which is being held on June 7, 2018 from 9.30am.

Currently Leicestershire has a block contract that provides this service and this is due to end June 2019. This event is an effort to explore what are the possible options/creative ways of delivering short breaks to Children and Young People in order to make a sustainable difference to their quality of life. We are looking to learn from existing good practice so that we can provide the best experience for children in the most cost effective way

We will be doing a short presentation about where we currently are and then there will be the opportunity to engage, following this presentation, on one to one basis. Any questions asked will be answered and published to all attendees. Please note that this only relates to questions and not your proposed delivery models.
