Somerset County Council is looking for a supplier who can provide training for Adults and Children's Social Care staff for the following courses, using both face-to-face and virtual delivery models:

Being a Reflective Supervisee (half day) - for staff who do not have supervisory responsibilities for others Promoting Reflective Practice in Supervision (3 days) - for staff who supervise others.

This is a key training programme for all social care staff where those in Adults and Children's Services will train alongside each other. At the end of this training participants will know how supervision supports their respective service objectives, practice frameworks and know what high quality supervision looks like in practice; they will be able to use supervision effectively and understand how it is must contribute clearly and consistently to improving outcomes for the children, families and adults they work with.

The contract for this work will be for 2 years.
