Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) is a new assessment that will be taken when pupils enter school (Reception age 4/5). The data will be used to create a baseline from which progress to the end of Key Stage 2 (age10/11) can be measured and reported in school performance tables. RBA is a suitable assessment to be digitally enabled and the procured supplier will carry out the Discovery Phase with aims to design, build and manage a digital service, working with the in-house Test Development team as they go through the development cycle for the new assessment.

Additional information: Possible extension to 3 May 2019 to include Alpha Phase.
