Additional information: The purpose of the Pre-tender Market Engagement (PTME) is to maximise the opportunity for a successful acquisition, should the Authority choose to invite competitive tenders from the market place at a later date.
The primary means of obtaining information from the PTME is via a PTME Questionnaire
The objective of the PTME is to: confirm that the draft specification is fit for purpose; identify any gaps or potential risks; to create market awareness for the opportunity; and to obtain feedback from the suppliers on their level of interest in tendering for the Authority's requirement. Furthermore, the Authority hopes to gain an understanding of the project timescales, to inform the procurement strategy and the business case.
