Advertisement for Market Engagement Event
Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU), on behalf of the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (‘LC CCG’) (‘the commissioner(s)’) would like to notify all potential bidders about a ‘Market Engagement Event’ which has been planned to take place on Monday 19th September 2016. From the 1 April 2015 NHS England has given Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (LC CCG) full delegation of authority under the co-commissioning arrangements.
This event has been arranged to provide information about the upcoming procurement. Under that procurement the commissioners are looking to appoint provider(s) to provide a specialist primary care service(s) to patients that are defined as:
Homeless patients:
‘Homelessness can be defined as the lack of decent, secure, safe and affordable housing’.
Asylum seekers:
‘Asylum seeker for support purposes is someone aged over 18 who has claimed asylum. They may have dependents entitled to support regardless of their own immigration status. Dependents can be a spouse or partner, anyone under 18 or a disabled person’.
The event will explain what services are being tendered for, specific demographics and population profiles, an overview of the procurement process itself including timescales, as well as providing an opportunity for exchange of information and contacts between providers.
