The International Maritime Security Operations Team (IMSOT), part of the Maritime
Operations Division within the Department for Transport has awarded a contract for the design and delivery of specialist Recognition of Firearms and Explosives (RFX) training to support capacity development activities on the international Maritime Security Strategic Engagement and Training (MSSET) programme. The training will be delivered to national and port level authorities in the priority countries on the MSSET programme.
The contract was awarded to a sole trader with expertise in this area. The contract was signed on 19th February 2024, following a competition arising from an open call for expressions of interest (published on Contract's finder at: https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/863087c6-c7c7-48d4-a4a4-5a4503af1971). The contract will run from 19th February 2024 until 31 March 2025, with an option to extend for a further 6 months.. The maximum contract value is £60,000.
