The Council requirement is for a proven COTS (Commercial off the shelf) online/intranet website to, provide Local Authority ICT Security Policies mapped to public sector compliance standards, services include customisation, ongoing maintenance and support.
The Council invites proposals for a COTS solution. The solution should encompass the following requirements:
- Provide the IT Security Framework policies for the organisation that would help the Council to protect its own assets, to advise its staff about IT security and their responsibilities as individual officers and meet all legislative requirements regarding IT and data security
- Meet the appropriate risk management and information governance standards to enable the Council to comply with the following standards:
- oISO 27002:2013 Standard
- oPCIDSS – Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
- oPSN (Public Shared Network) Compliance
- Provide a uniform level of control and consistent guidelines for management
- Allows authorised officers to audit and monitor the take-up of the policies.
The Council is looking for an immediate implementation.

Contractors wishing to be considered for this tendering opportunity must complete the quotation documents and return them electronically via the Council's e-tendering portal.
The deadline for return of the tender is 6 January 2016 at 12.00 noon.
