description
Harehill is a purpose built extra care scheme owned by RBH (landlord). The scheme has 43 units of accommodation and the Council have nomination rights to 35 of 43 units of accommodation and 8 units remain the responsibility of RBH.
Extra Care Housing provides care, support and well-being provision which is available over a 24 hour period, 7 days a week to individuals that have been assessed as being eligible under the Care Act 2014 for care and support.
Extra Care provides choice for people that have changing care and support needs, allowing people to retain independence for longer with 24 hour flexible care and support and help in an emergency while living in a self-contained flat.
The contract value, based on c. 320 planned hours per week is in the region of £330,000 per annum which will vary in response to the changing needs of residents.
The contract will be re-tendered for 3 years and an option to extend further 2 years subject to satisfactory outcomes.
Care, Support and Well-being provision will be available over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week
