description
The domestic violence referral and support pathway in Haringey has been redesigned to simplify access to services to ensure victims get help without delay and to improve multi-agency working. The Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (IDVAS) will work as a key agency in the coordinated community response to tackling violence against women and girls in Haringey.
The IDVA will operate an assessment and triage function, risk assessing all referrals for domestic violence and providing support to all female high risk victims of domestic violence aged 16 years plus.
