VSO is a global voluntary organisation whose mission is to bring people together to fight poverty through the lasting power of volunteering.
We will be running a tender process with the intention of awarding a contract for the provision of Group International Medical Insurance for our Global Workforce. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced / qualified organisations who can deliver on this requirement. Providers must be able to provide medical insurance cover in all locations and have extensive and appropriate medical provider networks in place in all locations to meet the requirements of our volunteers and staff across Africa and Asia to receive cashless medical services.
We operate where we can make the most difference fighting poverty. In 2020/21 VSO delivered programmes across 29 countries. The list of countries for 2021/22 financial year includes: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, eSwatini, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, and Zambia.
The provision of this service is required to start on 01 Dec 2022.

Expressions of interest: all expressions of interest in this tender opportunity must be received by VSO by 20 June 2022 at 15:00 (local UK time) and must be submitted electronically (emailed) to the following email address: penny.prestage@vsoint.org. The EOI must include a contact name, company name, company address, phone and email address.
Tender documents: tender documents will be sent to those who expressed an interest, following the close of the EOI period.
Contract period: 2 years, with the option to extend on an annual basis for up to a maximum of five years (2+1+1+1).
