Provision of Medical, General Aviation Support and Air Firefighting to British Army Training Unit(s) in Belize (BATSUB)

The possible requirement is for an aviation support helicopter and aircrew capable of operating to Visual Flight Rules (VFR) in Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) by day, when tasked in support of BATSUB staff, DIO staff and exercising troops being supported by BATSUB.

The services that are likely to be required at the outset of any potential contract are:

1Provide an air MEDEVAC service - Rotary wing
2Provide a general aviation service - Rotary wing
3Provide an air firefighting service - Rotary wing
4Source and operate from their own base in close proximity to BATSUB.
5Supply fully SQEP pilots
6Land and take off from restricted areas including jungle
7Maintain airframes to ensure no loss of capability
8Comply with all local and international air regulations
9Obtain all necessary permissions to operate
10Participate in Authority training exercises
